Manage messages using the Junk folder Report Message tool.

  • To teach the system your preferences you will use the “Report Message” option in Outlook.
  • The report message tool becomes available after you open any message.
  • For emails in your Junk folder that you want delivered to your Inbox choose Report Message > “Not Junk”
  • For emails you believe are phishing choose Report Message > “Phishing”
  • For emails in your Inbox that you consider junk choose Report Message > “Junk”
  • Set your Options to automatically send reports, this is to avoid the additional prompts to confirm sending each time.

At first you could see quite a few legitimate emails being sent to your Junk folder. These will decrease as you use the Report Message tool.
